Just to check, this is December and not April?

You are seriously telling me that there are at least 2 people out there stupid enough to fork out $120,000 for one of these and despite hiking the price up another $30k there is still interest in buying the third one...  Shocked:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7761411/Duct-taped-banana-installations-created-Maurizio-Cattelan-selling-150-000.html

If people are stupid enough to pay that much for a banana gaffer taped to a wall then we really are fucked as a species...  noooo:

Sad news (for pseuds).  Another artist nicked the nana and noshed it

'But performance artist David Datuna pulled it from the wall, peeled it and devoured it on Saturday.

"Art performance by me. I love Maurizio Cattelan artwork and I really love this installation. It's very delicious," Mr Datuna posted on Instagram'

Well, whatever, nevermind

Well I suppose they can sell it once it comes out the other end, won't change the quality of the piece...  whistle:

While I'm a believer in free speech there is a difference between being 'edgy' and inciting violence. Tweeting an offer of $500 for anyone who kills an ICE agent, especially in the current climate, crosses the line. But surprise surprise, he's gets acquitted.  Banghead

Quote
“I am broke but will scrounge and literally give $500 to anyone who kills an ice agent," he tweeted to his 400 followers in July 2018. "@me seriously who else can pledge get in on this let’s make this work.”

In another tweet, he responded to a post about ICE agents putting their lives at risk.

“Thank you ICE for putting your lives on the line and hopefully dying I guess so there’s less of you?” he wrote, according to court documents.

Is there anything in the quoted tweets that even vaguely suggests he was being sarcastic? No? Didn't think so.
