Sam the guard tells me there is guy who works for me who touches his car bonnet  each morning when he arrives in the car park.

Sam asked him why. The chap said, "If it is hot I have to go to work.If it is cold it is time to go home."

Meanwhile, Miss I is having some kind of crisis and I have spent 2 hours on and off doing Skype counselling and revising her (impressive) CV (6 languages including Ancient Greek  eeek:)
