Well the new TUI rep here is more than useless …tonight we were at posh place neat BM towers ..(the two are not connected  ) ….

And as usual we ask ..when are the speeches ..? Before or after meal ..? ..

“There are NO speeches “ ..

Are you sure ..?

“ yes !” ..

We check with hotel manager ..his paperwork from rep says ..”No speeches “ ..

So near the end of meal ..the bride asks us and manager when can they do their speeches ..? ..

Today I am working for a new wedding planner ……apparently she knows f all about weddings …


Nor the venue ….they asked for stuff that I had to ask …” have you been to the venue ? “ …

Answer …briefly once “ …. noooo……

Get the feeling I will be more of a planner tonight …been working that venue since we started …

But after tonight ….day off …

In our terms it says one weeks notice for song lists ..


We had asked everyday for weeks are there any special requests ..No …

And this guy has worked in hospitality all his life …he cared so little last night ..he came and sat with me ..he had a beer and a cigarette ..   he has never done that before always hids to smoke etc …

Got sent a “special “ song from a planner ….is some weird format and in a “ drop box ? “ …..from a bride ..


Told them need song in mp3 format or similar ….planner said rudely ..we will download it for you etc ….


Phone goes an hour later …” we can’t download it either “ …..
