Today got an email complaint about one of my Djs...

(this is a rare event )...and the Dj concerned is very professional and good....(I have to pay him what I get !! )...

So phone head TUI rep ..she says ignore that complaint ...   the rep who sent it is talking crap ....I also point out the Dj concerned posted on social media all guests dancing etc..

Turns out the "complaint" was the Dj telling the rep ..he doesnt normally do all-inc venues due to type of guests "..a private conversation to explain to her why she hadnt met him before .... ...

There is a singing duo/band here that are trying to get wedding work ....(I know the girl) .... ...they are average ...but I often recomend them ....

Now they have put out an advert (you tube)....stating why you should book a band NOT a Dj ....

All the Djs I know have msg me saying they will now not work with them ...

Why they did not say "as well as a Dj" is beyond me ...  

The bloke in the advert says "Djs just press buttons" ..!!!.....

Also "artists" and Djs often share same space /electrics etc ...well that aint happening bow..lol....

So to summarise ...they have reduced their bookings (no Dj will recommend, over half their work is from Djs )

Good luck when asking to use electric ..the Dj is generally there first ..

I mentioned briefly that another supplier blew up all my equipment and venues speakers .....

Today I get a phone call from the company employing us both about the way I spoke to him ....   WTF...!!!!...

In the process of writing a strong email.....
