Farage: We Are Now Run By Big Business, Big Banks and Big Bureaucrats

Somebody should post this on the Cyprus Forum Apey.....  whistle:
Seems Nigel has torn up the whole UKIP manifesto

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10592808/Nigel-Farage-disowns-the-entire-2010-Ukip-manifesto.html

Good, it ran completely contrary to the sentiments in that speech ^  Does this suggest a power struggle in UKIP or even that Nigel has 'nailed' his internal opposition?

Well, whatever, nevermind

I'm hoping that Nigel accepts the challenge  rubschin:

He is going to reply tomorrow on LBC...

I dunno.... I think if I was him I'd take up the challenge after the Euro elections...

"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Farage is too canny to get caught that easily but an interesting move by Clegg.  Many more moves to be had in this chess game yet.

Agreed. He is likely to be in a much better position (and Cleggy significantly worse) after the Euro elections...

Its a desperation move by Clegg, I wouldn't be surprised to see a leadership challenge within the party before long.

This this is best replied to here

Farage has just had to sack the guy that appears 1 minute in

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27151509

He's arguably the only true leader in the UK parties but jeez he's struggling to get a team he can trust to boil an egg

Oh dear...

Sadly, he does need a squeaky-clean team as everything the part does is put under such scrutiny... It is amazing how many smear articles there are in the MSM at the moment.

I can't help but think if they bothered to analyse the output of the other parties in the same detail they'd find the same thing....

Worth watching his slot on BBC breakfast today (starts 8.12 am if it's on iPlayer)  again he was excellent.  He actually pretty much echoed what I said ^ saying that builder's odious comments were repellent, that something had gone very wrong and he would launch an inquiry etc.

Nigel's had a very good 6 months.  He's cleared out some of UKIPs worst people and policies, surprised most by trouncing Clegg and as I said he is the only real leader in any of the major parties.  But if he really wants to move on from a probable EU election triumph then he is going to have to get a team around him that he can trust and most importantly are not at home to Mr Cock-Up.
Well, whatever, nevermind
