Apologies for my lack of appearance in the bar over the last few days. The garden called for help and I was out there. I'm not really here now either. Have taken the day off work and am off shortly for a facial.

Now, never having had one of these before I am expecting miracles. Is it too much to expect?

The short answer is yes.

Now why do women feel the need to take a whole day off for a bit of body maintenance?

A colleague recently took a day just for a visit to the hairdressers. When she came in the next day I greeted her with,
"Oh, the appointment was cancelled then?"

Probably no miracles but it's nice and makes you feel good (no smutty comments here thanks boys). 

The day for a bit a 'me time' is essential.  I squeeze in the odd half hour but the whole day - bliss!

I Googled "Bar Wench Facial" and got a picture of a young lady who appeared to have been drinking Guinness?
