Good question...

'tis because the machine that runs perfectly well as a linux music server (running slimserver) is completely unable to run a copy of XP with all the latest service packs and patches...  whistle:

Which version of XP are you using, bear in mind there are multiple editions for home business and multimedia use.

Aha, I think I may see the problem here. Which version of SP2 do you have? The early versions were buggy as hell and had all osrts of compatibility problems. I ended up having to reimage my machine because of that.
