I think they just talk a lot of bollox to make us feel inferior Snoops.

We had to go and buy a new digi box last night because we had a sort of echo with the sound on the old one. I had specifically asked Mr Wench if he had pulled out all the cables that weren't attached to anything. We got home installed the new one and it did the same thing. At this point I had a look and the tv still had a cable plugged into it picking up signal and giving the echo.  Banghead
Well that is your fault! Why oh why did you trust him with the cables?  ::)

I was ill. In bed. He asked for virtual help. I tried. How difficult is it to find cables that are only connected at one end and pull them out?  Banghead
But he doesn’t even have a bag or box of cables or anything!  ::)

You should have only trusted him to take the lace doyley off the top of the digibox then left the complex stuff to you…  point:

The digi box doesn't have a lace doily, just a thick covering of dust.

I was ill and he was irritating. I have no other excuse.  redface:

Not to mention a statuette of Shirley Bassey
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Actually it is a tasteful figurine of a bluebird sitting atop a football.

I bought it for him as a joke. He thinks it is kitsch and ironic. Secretly he likes it.
