If it's got Daisy Ridley in it I will watch it

Daisy is still in it but a lot of the scenes are completely changed from the mess that was the original. For one thing Luke actually trains her, Jedi Poppins is no more and Akbar actually has screen time.  :thumbsup:

Fantastic Beasts Crimes of Grimwald

Has had mixed reviews and I can see why but overall I'd be more positive.  The acting is superb (esp Redmayne and Depp) the filming and special effects top notch and the plot is a fair one

But

As many of the critics have said it is too intricate and complex for its own good especially in the middle third which sags after a good opening.  Too many characters and too many sub plots introduced

We enjoyed but with a decent script editor we'd have loved it

Most of the complaints I've been hearing from people leaving the film are that it seems to be playing fast and loose with the canon. I will admit I chuckled and shook the hand of the lass who said she fell asleep not long into the film and missed pretty much the entire thing..  lol:

Caught the end credit scenes for Once Upon a Deadpool and the Stan Lee tribute was excellent, starting with a couple of the additional lines that he had shot for Deadpool 2 that didn't get used and then changed to an excerpt from an interview with him. By the end if it there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
