From the sounds of things the next update is due to come with a raft of new features...  rubschin:

I have to say that apart from having to track down a driver for my aged Notebook, it's all been untraumatic and the all new Windows 10 is better than Windows 7

This sort of means I'm saying "Well done Microsoft.  "

I'll get over it

 Banghead Banghead Banghead

Why do I open my big fat mouth (well keyboard)

More broken than a broken thing  cussing:

Do not click that 'delete old copies of windows' prompt until you have a full system restore to go back to

Well, whatever, nevermind

In all honesty it's one of those things that I'd never think about doing, it takes up around 25Gb but unless you have a system with a single hard drive that has limited capacity it's not a problem.

Yep it's a 200Gb note book with idiot partitions that refused to update the Sat Nav because of insufficient C drive spare

Hit the clear up space icon and it just froze up and would not restart.  Did get to a go back to Win 7 icon but it's effed the registry profile

So I have Win 7 and a new identity

Today I will mostly be learning about registry merging and mending
Well, whatever, nevermind

I now have Windows 20

Well I've had to install it twice, rebuild a profile, fail to find the registry errors and all in all spend several hours of my life I won't get back

And it still wants that missing driver tracked down

But no data lost    eeek:

Last week, mine installed an upgrade then promptly shut down and would only let me log in as a guest. 10 minutes later it re-booted and has been fine since.  Even the touch pad scrolling works again.

Asus ACPI driver.  So I find such again and guess what game I get to play again

(back to Windows 7)

Still at least no shredded profile and registry this time.   So do I give up and stick with Windows 7 or do I twist and boldly go for Windows 30?
