It seems fridays booking is an extra one and they had in fact forgotten to book us for tomorrow. We only know cos we phoned head office to double check. "ooops, I forgot to press send on the email" was the reply. This is a huge international company!!! Piss up and brewery come to mind.

I have cancelled djs, booked extra djs, wept in the corner a little.  I don't get paid enough for this bollox. Sick of having to do everyone elses job for them.

Now one of the djs who starts in half an hour calls, the roof on her convertible has stuck and she cant get her equipment out of the car, can she come and borrow some of my extra kit. I'm leaving to go to my own gig in ten mins and cant get anything to her later as she is on a yacht and so will be in the middle of the sea.  the day just gets betterer. I'm drinking now.
