I have had to see about four other managers today as part of my mission. I tell them what I am doing and why and what I need  They have jumped to help me as they regard the work as long overdue. There is some eye rolling involved as they dare not say what they think through terror of "Her Upstairs".  noooo:  Hey, I am temporary. I feel liberated

We had coffee and biscuits  cloud9:

Meanwhile:

Good afternoon all

In order to provide a realistic working environment for our learners and to ensure they are work ready, we will be running a work experience activity from 16 to 26 June; during which the motor vehicle learners will be working with tutors to provide a service to staff of the College.

This service (please see the attached leaflet) will provide an interior and exterior valet, plus safety inspection (much like a pre-MOT check) to check the safety and serviceability of your vehicle (a garage would possible charge over an hour’s labour for this).

Learners will book in the vehicles, process the paperwork and then, under the supervision of qualified staff, they will  provide a report on your vehicle (which will need to be with us for the day and which you can collect from us, at the end of the day, via our reception).

The ‘charge’ for this service is £3; which the College will then donate to charity.
