Whilst out shopping today Mrs TG offered to buy me a shirt. The following conversation ensued:
Mrs TG : Nice shirt (translation: I like this and you WILL wear it)
TG: Ain't got a tie to match it. (translation: I hate it and is the pub open yet?)
Mrs TG: Mmmm (translation: You will suffer for this)
I avoid buying the shirt but Mrs TG see's a tie that would match the unbought shirt and BUYS it while I am in the pub..
A attach a picture so that you may have a good laugh at my expense.

That cannot possibly match any shirt a heterosexual man would willingly wear. I suggest an accident, in the office, that will involve some waterproof marker pens and the office shredder.

Well the tie came bundled with an alloy wheel and a sophisticated piece of in car entertainment equipment with some wires hanging out the back. A right bargain! happy088

NO! point:
To be honest yes, only a homosexual man would pick it out for himself. However, I assume that people know there is a Mrs TG just as Mr Wench's colleagues know about me. They all know Mr Wench doesn't choose the majority of his own clothes! That is why he is co-ordinated and has a decent wardrobe.

I'm doomed. sad24:

Just accept it. It's far easier in the long run. Mr Wench has also discovered it's cheaper as he no longer buys his own shirts and ties. ::) He also quite likes the attention from the ladies who compliment him on his good taste. ::)

You think I'm wearing it! eeek:
-
Mr Wench is not branded as a Mummy's boy he is branded as having a Missus with excellent taste. It is ONLY a gay tie if you picked it out yourself. You have a Mrs TG and so no one is going to think it is a gay tie. They are going to think that Mrs TG has good taste and aren't you a nice man for indulging her.

Good answer! Still not wearing it though. confused:

Personally I'd wrap it round her neck ~ tightly.
Or rewrap it and give it to my Brother in Law.

Shame. I always like to see Mr Wench looking smart in suit and tie. ;)

And some Vomit.

Shame. I always like to see Mr Wench looking smart in suit and tie. ;)
You wouldn't like me then ~ I've only worn a suit 'n' tie twice in six years. Once for the youngest boy's baptism and once for the wedding of cousin's son. Usual garb ~ cotton trouser or jeans, polo shirt and boat shoes. Fleece over the top if I have to go out ~ thinking about it I don't own much else nowadays.

I wore a suit the other day en route to airport via school and The Boy's teacher asked if I had been to a funeral! redface:

He is a schoolteacher.
How much "Co-ordinating" do you need to do for Tattershall shirt, brown corduroy trousers and a green Harris Tweed jacket (with suede elbow patches)?
-
You forget the green knitted tie, with a squared off end.

Below is another picture of one of my lovely ties.
This was bought my stepdaughter so Mrs TG is blameless in this.
I keep it not for its aesthetic value but for it's usefulness when attending Bar-Mitzvahs or guided tours of our local mosque. happy088
