NO!  point:

To be honest yes, only a homosexual man would pick it out for himself. However, I assume that people know there is a Mrs TG just as Mr Wench's colleagues know about me. They all know Mr Wench doesn't choose the majority of his own clothes! That is why he is co-ordinated and has a decent wardrobe.

Just accept it. It's far easier in the long run. Mr Wench has also discovered it's cheaper as he no longer buys his own shirts and ties.  ::) He also quite likes the attention from the ladies who compliment him on his good taste.  ::)

He is, of course, now branded by all his colleagues as a "Mummies Boy"

Mr Wench is not branded as a Mummy's boy he is branded as having a Missus with excellent taste. It is ONLY a gay tie if you picked it out yourself. You have a Mrs TG and so no one is going to think it is a gay tie. They are going to think that Mrs TG has good taste and aren't you a nice man for indulging her.

Personally I'd wrap it round her neck ~ tightly.

Or rewrap it and give it to my Brother in Law.
