I see UKIP can't raise 6 pallbearers.

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

I'm sure he works on the principle that the more he says it... the more people believe it....

And I don't think he is entirely wrong on that... especially with the backdrop of EU meltdown....

Don't get me wrong ~ I am all for getting the fvck out of the EU completely. They need us more than we need them.

It is unfortunate that Ted Heath pissed the Commonwealth off so much when he took us into the EEC or whatever name it went by back then but I am sure that blood being thicker than water some of them will welcome us back.

But I am all for full border controls, block up the channel tunnel if necessary, our own money and our own rules. The money flocks to Switzerland, Lichtenstein et al. Why not to a fully independent UK? Bring it on says I

Think of the savings we would have if we weren't paying to belong to the EU, think of the fish we could sell to them instead of giving them, think of what our farmers could do by actually growing our own food instead of buggering about claiming subsidies which allow French farmers to sell us milk cheaper than we (or they) can produce it for.

All I am saying is that there are too many vested interests to allow it to happen any time soon. As for the EU going fully tits up ~ I can't see the Germans allowing that to happen.
