Shadow chancellor Alan Johnson is resigning from Labour leader Ed Miliband's frontbench team, citing "personal" reasons.

I know I've said it before but he was a prat when I knew him and he hasn't changed.

I'm not so sure, in order to get the deficit back under control the government is going to have to continue to make unpopular choices. I have a sinking feeling that it will be Labours way back into power at the next election.
