Miss C is feeling better...  cloud9:
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

Fruit Bread .... We make ours with cold tea instead of water and add chopped dates and raisins but no currants. Sometimes we add chopped dried apricots as well.
Cold tea (same amount as you would water) 1.5 oz soft butter, usual amount of salt and sugar
Cinnamon, Ginger and All spice + a pinch of nutmeg are added to the flour (mix it together before putting it into the bread maker)
Once in bread maker add yeast
DO NOT ADD THE FRUIT YET!
Use "basic" setting and start it.
When it bleeps add fruit for second mix
Then leave it to do its thing.
Adding fruit any earlier leads to a soggy loaf!!!

Most excellent as fresh bread or toasted once it is a day or two old.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
