Oh I'm sure there are lots of reasons and anyway one can work on the train thus making one's time more productive.
Several of us used to drive (commute) into town daily and held our sales meetings via mobiles on conference calls to save on time. Also used to do all letter writing via a dictation gadget in the car but nowadays such practice is frowned on and the train as a mobile office has some attractions ~ unless you are Nick when all that can go wrong will.
