Well so far so good, no big boom yet
Falmouth docks were a priority target during the WW2 as they were repair and replenishment facilities with easy access to French and Spanish waters.
We are seeing a bunch of idiots saying that this proves the harbour shouldn't be dredged as it's also dangerous. Personally I'd rather clear the harbour silt and any other unexploded bombs now rather than have some idiot diver in the future hitting a bomb with their knife not knowing what it was.
I did have some fun last night freaking out some colleagues by saying it could be worse and explaining about the Richard Montgomery then telling them expert engineers were working on making the wreck safe followed by showing a video of 2 of the engineers in a crane mounted cage hitting the wreck with hammers
