It was bad news, wiring fault:  not covered by warranty.  Deep behind the dashboard so they had take it all out (and now have to put it all back together again at a 'discounted' rate of £126 an hour plus VAT.

£2,100 (incl battery change)  Shocked:  sad32: sad32: sad32:

Truth is it's a first world middle class problem.  If I was less well off (a) I'd never have got such a self indulgency as that bonkers fast car and (b) I'd just scrap it and go and get another on its last legs wreck.  Like wot I used to do. 

AFAIK the garage have acted in good faith and coughing up is the least worst way forward.

Toss another chair leg on the fire Mrs K

Spent the night in Pafos which was lovely... Sunset drinks on the beach, Ocean Basket at the harbour, etc.  cloud9:

But Lucky came along for the ride and he was MOST excited about his new surroundings... I didn't sleep much...  sleep017

Got a mahoosive thorn in the nearside rear of KIA-Ora3... doh:

So will be walking down the pub tonight and drive it gently (no spare of course ::)) to hopefully get it repaired tomoz...  rubschin:

Got nearly 25,000km on the clock so hopefully can be repaired and not a full rubber replacement...  scared2:
