In other good news, mouse has been found, captured (alive) and released back into the wood

Lots of clattering at 1am...

Came downstairs and Smudger had brought a mouse in.

Spent the next hour playing 'catch the mouse' all around the living room. Finally managed to drop a plastic measuring jug over it while it was staring into my new torch.

Slid some card under the jug and released it outside unharmed...  cloud9:

Half expected a neighbour to walk past as I stood on the driveway naked or an owl to swoop down and take the mouse away - or worse!  eeek:
;D  and  for Mr/Ms Mouse

2am Pippi brings in a mouse and it hides under a unit.  After an hour of defying the cats and trying to entice it out we gave up shutting the doors and leaving safe traps.  Has it been trapped?  Not as I type.

Cats are of course right now blissfully asleep on the bed as if butter wouldn't melt.

Thinks again about that £500 AI cat flap that recognises if bringing in wildlife and blocks it.
Well, whatever, nevermind

AI catflap you say...?  rubschin:

We've had a bird, lizards and now a fucking mouse this week - the novelty is wearing off...  evil:

The lizards quickly dump their tail as a decoy so you (eventually) find them in two different places...  noooo:

I do not have ducks. I do not have a row. I have squirrels and they are all at a rave.
