Well that shift was a bit more interesting than normal. We are busier than we have been for a while but then on top of that we had a fight start in one screen after someone asked a tosser to stop making noise and he responded by throwing their drink in his face (you van imagine how it went after that). Then we had some arsehole come in wearing one of these.



Fun fact, if you look at someone wearing one of those in a screen with a night vision camera they glow as if they just finished a shift as a Chernobyl Liquidator which means you can barely see anything else in the screen because the camera can't compensate. So every time they moved we ended up going into the screen to watch then in case they were recording the film  cussing:

Then to cap things off a customer had a seizure in one of the screens.

Went to the Post Office today and a new Thermostat for the underfloor heating had been delivered!  cloud9:

Took the old one off (yellowed, faded, no Interwebz) but it had been squeezed into the back box with one retaining screw...

Fitted the new thermostat (WiFi, all singing all dancing  cloud9:)  but the second retaining clip snapped off when I tried to straighten it...  Banghead

Now I'm into a nightmare back box replacement... Given that I have another seven thermostats to replace I wasn't happy...  sad24:

But BEHOLD! The Interwebz reveal that a back box repair clip is available - now on order from Amazon!

Had to go to the bank ..ironically to sort out my online banking .. nooo…..

Had tried online loads of times ….been into bank ..but then my phone ..”was too old “ ….

So finally today ..we get to see a human .. eee……she tries ..nothing …give her passport and all paperwork etc …

Nothing …

Finally she discovers THEY have entered my DOB wrong … cussing:

I wouldn’t bother …but today at the main branch of Bank of Cyprus ..only 2 tellers …..it’s like they are forcing you to go online …the queue was nearly out the door … noooo:
