The electrician comes to call as the induction hob circuit has been tripping the circuit breakers since we got back from holiday.

Two possibilities:  the Miele Hob (££££) has failed or (unlikely) the wiring has a fault.

Amazingly twas the wiring (dead short Live to earth  eeek:) but it still took over 3 hours to get it diagnosed and fixed. I await the bill with some concern.

Leave it …get take aways like BM ….
noooo:  I'd get lynched

Also very few places deliver out here in the sticks

£315  cry:

315 buys a lot of take always ….. whistle:
Not when we have few options for decent grub within 'food stays warm' driving range.  One chip shop, one Indian that we aren't keen on and one Thai.

Chips n curry sauce … noooo:

A problem we have is our nearest Indian got done for employing illegals and our thinking is 'if they'll cheat on that what else will they cheat on?'

But during lockdown we did lower the bar and it was an excellent meal.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Moons ago we helped a Cypriot open an Indian take away ..( it was aimed at expats ) ..but surprisingly popular with Cypriots …

But he had real Indian chefs …and they cooked for us “their “ food not the menu stuff ..was yumster ..

Also some of the best food I have eaten was Vietnamese ..again the stuff they eat …had stuffed cabbage leaves in seven sense dip …mind blowing good … Thumbs:
