The electrician comes to call as the induction hob circuit has been tripping the circuit breakers since we got back from holiday.

Two possibilities:  the Miele Hob (££££) has failed or (unlikely) the wiring has a fault. 

Amazingly twas the wiring (dead short Live to earth  eeek:) but it still took over 3 hours to get it diagnosed and fixed. I await the bill with some concern.

Not when we have few options for decent grub within 'food stays warm' driving range.  One chip shop, one Indian that we aren't keen on and one Thai.
