The electrician comes to call as the induction hob circuit has been tripping the circuit breakers since we got back from holiday.

Two possibilities:  the Miele Hob (££££) has failed or (unlikely) the wiring has a fault. 

Amazingly twas the wiring (dead short Live to earth  eeek:) but it still took over 3 hours to get it diagnosed and fixed. I await the bill with some concern.
Well, whatever, nevermind
