Theoretically you can't take a camera (or can't take photographs) on the base...But they organised a trip from the village here a while back (to see the Red Arrows) with a 'no camera' rule and loads of people had their cameras with them... Nobody seemed to bother about it even with the U2 taking off a short distance away... I was stupid enough to abide by the rule... And of course just about everybody walking through the gates these days has a phone with a camera on it so it is impossible to enforce...
