Grumpy's Cornish travelogue, part one - Newquay.

As it's been the first time in almost 20 years that we've had all three brothers in the same place at the same time we decided to go have a trip out so ended up in Newquay. Usually when you see footage of people out on the town there they are usually filmed late in the evening after it had got dark, there is a good reason for this. Newquay (at least the part I saw) is a shithole that looks a lot better in low light. It could be hugely improved with the delicate application of a couple of hundred tons of TNT and some concrete, something I did consider mentioning to the hen party that we saw who all had expressions like someone had killed their puppy (obviously they only saw the night time footage).  If you are going to pile megabucks into the town then for crying out loud don't just build houses onthe outskirts, put some towards giving the town centre a facelift so there aren't buildings that are obviously decaying.

Wasn't difficult, he's like a drain.... I think he had some nicked once.  I thought LL would fall at the first hurdle with a strong Long Island Iced Tea, but she came good in the end.

We did too after a rude awakening at 7:30 banging on the door then the bedroom window (bungalow) with shouts open up it is the police    we both shot out of bed ....  When I opened the door they informed us that they had the wrong address  and apologised

Fell back into bed with my hangover and went back to sleep  when we woke again could not believe what had happened
