Today I appear to be waiting at A&E for my mother to be X-Rayed after another fall.
Never knock the NHS. Ambulance was with her 5 minutes after we called it. Oh and if you want to know of a remote emergency alarm system I can recommend one.
TTFN
Hope all goes well......
Cheers Apey and Boogs
She has finally been discharged and even better my brother has volunteered to take her for a couple of days. Parrently she fell off a stool in her kitchen banging head and hips and other places.
But nothing broken and no heart attack cause.
Parents eh, who'd have them
That's good news and I hope Mum makes a full and reasonably speedy recovery. Trouble is even if nothing is broken these types of instances do shake you up as you get older, so she will need a close eye kept on her for a while.
Parents yes, I miss ours

Still (was was the last over 3 years ago now) when the phone rings late at night my FIRST thought is which one of then is ill..............So although sometimes it feels a bit of a burden (inconvenience) if you are close to your parents then treasure them as best you can
