The only correlation that you have concerning computer games and shootings is coincidental. The games industry currently makes significantly more money than Hollywood and playing games is popular with people of all ages INCLUDING THOSE IN SCHOOL! I've gone through any number of shooters over the years, hell even Baldymort played Doom back in the day so does that make him a raging psychopath by default because he was running around with a chainsaw carving up demons?
If you really want to do something about school shootings then involve the FBI Behavioural Science Division. When it was in it's infancy John Douglas and his team interviewed serial killers and other violent criminals all over the country (Douglas himself interviewed infamous figures such as David Berkowitz, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson, Lynette Fromme, Sara Jane Moore, Edmund Kemper, James Earl Ray, Sirhan Sirhan, Richard Speck, Donald Harvey, Gary Ridgway and Joseph Paul Franklin) in order to correlate behaviours and develop profiling techniques that would allow law enforcement officers to be able to predict and/or catch offenders. Do you seriously think that if they were given the resources, a clear objective and free reign they couldn't come up with the tools to identify potential shooters while still in school so that they could be investigated before another incident occurs?
But no, something like this would never happen because it's so much easier to just trot out the same scapegoat again and again in whichever incarnation it is this time.
