Two frogs have been "married" in a ceremony in the western Indian state of Maharashtra to usher in the delayed monsoon rains, according to a report.

Residents in a suburb of Nagpur, 860 kilometres (530 miles) east of the state capital Mumbai, looked on as the groom, Raja, and bride, Rani, were joined in union in a solemn ritual at the weekend, the Times of India said.

Tradition dictates that if frogs are married off with full Vedic or Hindu rituals, the rain god is pleased and the heavens will open within days. Similar ceremonies have been held across the country.

Objects chosen by hermit in tower

A brick from the Great Wall of China and 140-year-old honey are among the objects chosen by a hermit who is to live in isolation for 40 days.

Ansuman Biswas, 43, of London, will live in a Gothic tower at the top of Manchester Museum.

He will contemplate things "lost" and the impact of extinction

Mr Biswas has chosen 40 objects to present to the public during his stay, including a human skull before asking for their response.

The museum has 4.5 million artefacts and Mr Biswas will live among them from Saturday until 5 August.

The other chosen objects include a now extinct St Helena giant earwig and the honey bee, a threatened species.

His only communication with the outside world will be through his internet blog as he details what life is like in seclusion.

Wonderbra for men

It's called the Wondershirt and its makers say it will do for men what the Wonderbra does for women.

What apparently makes it wonderful is same compression technology used to squeeze Olympic swimmers into their swimsuits  eeek:

With the Wondershirt, everything gets pushed together providing support, a trim look and definitely a slimmer fit..

"Men are objectified just as much as women are. The playing ground is even," Flint said.  happy001

You can get pants for men like that too. That squeeze and lift into a peachy bottom.
