I think that one twiddles with buttons and knobs but pushes or pulls levers.

 Let's just say he is fiddling with the controls.  whistle:

I was operating a JCB for 12 hours loading gritters just two hours after having mine

The reversal op was a different story, could hardly walk for two days, off work for two weeks  noooo:  (and it didn't work  sad24: )
