I'm joining this thread late. I had the op back in '84. My own doctor did it in the surgery, like you, it took 20 minutes. FIL took me home, two hours later my boss was knocking on the door, "how you feeling, Denis has gone sick, can you drive the JCB and load gritters all night". I did, no problems whatsoever

However, I would not recommend the reversal (breakdown of marriage, new long-term relationship) When they do that one they cut hell of a lot further. I couldn't walk for three days, and on returning home I was greeted by one of the dogs in the way that they do  eeek: eeek: eeek:

Makes perfect sense to me ~ and with the reference to new relationships etc explains why I have never had it done.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
