I was going to say that on a scale of zero to Savile, thumping some spotty arts-graduate TV producer should be in the lower decile.

Clarkson has made a career of being bloody-minded and intolerant and it seems now has upset someone in the BBC hierarchy, possibly taking a swing at some low-order hanger-on.
It isn't drugs or sex abuse, more a normal Saturday night for a footballer.
They keep their jobs for any of the above it seems.
