Sorry Growler. That was aimed at Snoopy's post but your one slipped in between.

Oh pardon me ~ and all the stuff about trips to Ainsdale, cracks about rock cakes, comments about making their own cakes and pies etc was SERIOUS was it.

I should have moved this thread when I saw the way it was going but I tried to deflect the more stupid remarks with a little humour ~ clearly wasted.  ::)

Growler started a perfectly sensible thread. It is going nowhere. I took an hour out to see what would happen and when I come back it reads like a script from a playground argument. I expect to hear someone saying "My brother is bigger than your brother".

Not funny, wrong place for such silliness. Please stop it now.

Sir:

Statistically, we are 750 times more likely to be hit by an asteroid than we are to win the lottery. As someone wins the lottery every Saturday and every Wednesday, that means that fifteen hundred people a week in Britain must get hit by an asteroid. It is, then, a national disgrace that the list of charities which benefit from lottery money doesn't include a single Asteroid Help Line. The whole damn system is rotten to the core, I tell you.

Well thank you!

Apart from one tiny mention of rock cakes I have tried to keep it serious.

I suggest you red card 'normal' Nick.

THEY, U.M., are too numerous to mention tbh. Just google in Planet X, and you'll find enough reading on the subject to keep you going until its arrival on 21/12/2012....lot of ones and two's in that date ey?  rubschin: Any significance?
I've got a link to a 6 part video on You Tube if you want to see it.
He tells a pretty damned convincing story tbh, and does give you food for though.
But there again, he IS American.  ::)

I'll dig the link out from the bowels of my e mails, and throw it on here later for your purusal if you so wish.

You're looking at the best part of an hours viewing, but regardless of your thoughts on the matter, it is quite interesting. Well I thought so anyway. ;)

Just previewed the post, and it doesn't do what I was expecting. confused:
The original link took you directly onto the You Tube site, and then you clicked onto the parts 2-6 or however many, at the side when you'd finished watching part 1.
I'm sure you'll find a way of finding the other parts if you want to watch them.
