I was on the point of switching ISPs during the week when, at the last moment, the new one came clean and admitted they couldn't host my domain or email addresses. I cancelled the order, the direct debit instruction etc but they said it was too late, the switch would take place anyway.

So, in short, they were unable to do what they offered... and then they were unable NOT to do the switch. Quite ridiculous

After a certain amount of anxiety and preparing for disconnection and the process of reconnection I began to smile. On checking the paperwork I'd given the new ISP my telephone number... except the number for the broadband is split off the fax number; a different number entirely

I wonder if having broadband on my landline phone means I can talk quicker
