Ventured in to town to survey the damage to darkest Surrey. 1 twig on my windscreen which I removed on my walk down, the Post Office Sorting building down the road appears to have lost some of the felt from its flat roof, as it is scattered all over the pavement. Small branches on the pavement and a couple of chunkier ones from the dying elm tree further down. A few bits of rendering/paint in town from buildings. Not much. Pub open, so obvs, popped in for some "breakfast". Watched in awe as utter fuckwits wandered around, outside, in a good breeze, continued to wear face nappies.

Simple conclusion - the hard of thinking simply love being told what to do, rather than make an informed decision based on what they experience as opposed to what the main channels on the tellybox telling them. Very sad.

Sad but true...  noooo:

A nation of wimps. Any excuse to bunk off for a day or two. Totally risk adverse. Completely different from earlier generations where risk = living, the buzz, being on the edge, outside of normal sensibilities, knowing your own actions determined your fate. Sometimes you got it wrong and the resultant scars/broken bits make you stop and think. That's the important bit - stop and think. Don't let the tellytwats or anyone else do it for you. If a government tells you "it's for your own good" then you can pretty much assume its for their good, not yours.
