Ah yes Mr and Ms Stupid always try to buy aircon when there's not a 'R' in the month.  And you just know after paying top price and finally getting it fitted in October they'll open all the windows the next hot day.

The trick with air con is to set it to a "normal" temperature ...but most try to get it to blow ice cold ...at a normal temp is doesn't work as hard therefore not too bad on leccy ...but still keeps you cool .....(further cost saving tips will be charged ..mates rates tho ..)........

Tell me about it.  The rows I've had to sort in my work years where someone furthest from the el cheapo AirCon outlet overides the thermostat not giving a shit about the poor sod directly under it.  My standard approach: "pack it in or we'll swap your desks round"
