I notice that five of the wind turbines I can see from my house are not working today....

I wonder if they were damaged by the... um... wind last night?

Started snowing here yesterday intermingled with rain and snow grains.  Just a thin covering when I looked out of the window at 8 a.m. but it has been snowing steadily since and I notice the flakes are getting more frequent and bigger.

Its stopped snowing here.  Staff have gone to collect little Un, I have not.  Have settled down to watch Kenneth Moore in the 39 steps.
