Well, it's not raining which is a huge bonus neither is if frosty, another bonus.  Given those two facts the fact that it is grey is of no consequence......To me at any rate.

At least I had one day with no rain.  I managed to plant some (admittedly very late) daffodils and crocus.  They were supplied by the council for the field at the bottom of the garden.  Most were planted by the children from the school across the road.  We then left the bags out for anyone to collect and plant some.  The last few were looking very sorry for themselves and there were no takers so rather than waste them I planted them in the garden. I might get round to planting them in the field next year. angel1
