The all new Boredom thread
« on: April 10, 2008, 09:07:15 AM »
Bored at work?

Fed up with life in general?

Nothing constructive to do?

Nothing you fancy doing even though you know it needs doing (especially thos things that you need to do and know will need doing again tomorrow)?

Sums me up a treat.
Doing me books p'raps? They need doing, but 'tomorrow' beckons, yet again.
Been saying that for 15 months now.

Come to the conclusion that I am going to sink without trace if I don't get a business partner to kick me out of this bastard sea swamp of total unmitigated apathy and gross unenthusiasm for everything work connected, not helped by floods of tears and anquish this morning from 'The Boy#2, when asked what exactly he's planning on doing when he leaves school in just 25 days time.

Tramps have such an easy life, it's fast becoming an attractive proposition.

Have booked flights for Summer hols
The sun is shinning
My Mother has transfered me some money
Weekend of peace and quiet beckons

Things like this make my day though. I despair, I truly do.

Oh, and poofter Paddick did - it seems - go to my school. I'm sure "Head Boy" had a different connotation to him...

Precisely. We'd all love to know. ::)
He's also swimming in a sea swamp of total unmitigated apathy, and total negativity, with absolutely no idea whatsoever what he'd like to do, only I think I may know differently....car sales. eeek:

Mrs Growler suggested getting a good trade behind him, you know, a life skill, but he simply says NO.
He has my complete sympathy and understanding though. It isn't easy trying to make the right decision.

I give up....for now, until the 'seconds out, round 2' bell rings.

Well Connexions are famously useless.

Will he get any decent GCSEs?
