Nothing other than the normal ..... and child number 5 home from school all week with cold/asthma etc + GP surgery closed today when I had an appointment with them but they didn't bother to 'phone and tell me so I turned up to find it bolted and barred + it's cold and miserable here today + Mil & Sil are coming for a week over New Year and Mrs S wants lots of decorating done, which is not easy with a snotty nosed 7yo hanging on your tail + I haven't been able to get any Christmas shopping done because of (i) agoraphobia and (ii) fvcking internet shops (Amazon etc) are out of stock of everything I think of + Hormone laden Daughter playing up big time + + + + + + + + Hence the need to cheer myself up with comfort food in the form of Chicken Soup and silly jokes in the comedy room.
