Oh all the usual ~ She has noooooooooooooo life because I am such a bad parent that I wont let her roam the streets of Prestatyn with persons unspecified until at least 11pm "Like ALL my friends do".
A reminder from me that she has had me acting as a taxi for the past 8 evenings in a row and hasn't once said thank you.
My refusal to allow her to wear make-up (Ah La Alice Cooper) to school.
My refusal to allow her to wear jewelery and jeans to school instead of the uniform
My insistence that she WILL tidy her room

All Soooooooooooooo unfair!!! sad32: sad32: sad32: sad32:

In the end I told her to shut up or I'd smack her silly face so I'm also accused of violence and child abuse. I 'spect she is telling Esther Ranzen all about me right now.

I know she has the painters in ~ why can't she accept that and move on?

Oh I know ~ I've been here before don't forget ... her big sister was on the 'phone at the weekend complaining about her daughter (who is four months younger and equally hormonal). It didn't go down too well when I reminded her that SHE had been no different and that I had troubles of my own.  evil: Tell me that "YOUR Granddaughter is making my life a misery" indeed!!!!! noooo: I don't think soooooooooooooooooooo!

Oh dear. The Boy is now demanding to go out with various dodgy friends. I say no. He is still biddable, and he won't have the painters, but testosterone beckons. Tough times

Yeah ~ it ain't easy but you have to give them a bit of rope ... the hard bit is knowing how much.

As I told mine last night ~ I don't mind you having friends and I don't want to "vet" them but nor do I want to be explaining to a policeman why I had no idea where my child was or who she was with.

The problem is every inch you yield they will take a yard ~ You know that and factor it into the equation but then they try taking the whole mile long before they are ready.

Again, as I said last night ~ I expect my kids to sh*t on me but I'm damned if I will let them rub it in.

After all a joke's one thing but a bloody full comic opera is going a tad too far.

I feel better now ~ must be the Chicken Soup and good company here. cloud9:

My insistence that she WILL tidy her room

Go iin there with bin bags and do a clear out. Let her see the bags when she comes back in and tell her that either she keeps her room clean from now on or everything goes to the charity shops.

Done that ~ that's what started last nights little production.

If Nick is going out to see on a canoe I'll watch the news for a titanic-esque incident.  whistle:
