Doctors' Antiques

OK so we went to the doctor. Long wait. I read the mags on the table.

Article in one by Brian Redhead. Hang on. He's Dead. eeek:

Checked the date

1992!

How do they do that?The mag was in pristine condition!

The property prices were interesting too!

But where do docs get those old mags from? Oldest I ever saw was a 1973 Country Life in Surrey in 1997!

That really is quite impressive. Personally I think they are donated by people who have kept them for various reasons. For instance, our doctors surgery currently has football magazines from 1994 and Country Living magazines from 98.  redface:

Maybe you should start a special delivery service. Buy up loads of copies of Country Life now and then flog them to the NHS in about 15 years.

I was pleased to see that the nastiest receptionist had her leg bandaged up. I trust she 'phoned in for an appointment at 8.30 a.m. along with half the population of the area and was offered an appointment three days later when she eventually got through. evil:
