They call. They ask questions

I am accepted

Am I happy to travel to UCL in London monthly, all expenses paid and £100 per visit?

So you are going to be either pumped full of experimental medicine or infected with something and then pumped full of experimental medicine that theoretically treats whatever they have given you to see if it is safe for human use....


What could possibly go wrong..

Well, yes, there are dodgy elements, but I am dying anywho, so free trips to London and free lunches with SUzi and others

That was an interesting day out!

The doctor/researcher I am assigned to is Russian.Apparently he did his medical training in the Russian Army 

At one point he left the office and then knocked on the door before he came back in 

I asked him why. "Army training. You don't want to surprise someone and get shot by mistake"

No obvious problems so far, seems to have done wonders for my hair and I'm sure the extra arm will come in handy. Maybe BM should sign up for the trial. I wish I knew who keeps calling my name though..
