Miss C and the Phantom Dog Plot

1. Miss C likes dogs and wants a dog
2. Not a puppy, like, but an elderly rescue dog
3. In January or February she is moving to a sort of retirement village, all adapted for wheelchair users and so on, with gardens and stuff 
4. IF she has an existing dog, she can take it with her
5. She cannot acquire a dog once she has moved there
6. Therefore she needs to acquire a dog which she claims she already has and which is being looked after by "a friend" 
7. Thus, between now and the start of next year Miss C and I have to conspire to acquire a dog which will temporarily move in with me before I appear and restore it Miss C in her new home
