Did you sign the hire forms?  If so then you've lost.  It is however a regular scam by hire companies in Europe that are often just franchises very disconnected from the brand name and frankly hanging is too good for them

When they slide you the form and say "Sign here and here" putting a little cross next to the boxes, I usually oblige by putting a similar little cross in the box.
One time in 3 they just stuff it in the folder without looking.

Today I have had to show him how to:

Use the door key to the flat
Open and close a roller blind
Close his bedroom blind
How to get hot water to come out of a mixer tap
Attach a photo to an e mail
Use wi fi
Read a bus map

It is now collapso o clock again, as it has been on and off, since 2.00  NickSick
