So we are inviting Applicants in to special Applicants' Days where they get the red carpet treatment and their parents are fed and watered so they are encouraged to come to the university.

The kids get Taster Session in their chose subjects so we can really impress them. One tricky area is COmputer graphics and animation.

We had 30 kids in last Sat. The relevant lecturers couldn't be arsed to come in, so the kids were given two hours of coding instead.

They all complained and said that after the experience they would NOT be coming here.  facepalm:

Apparently, several were in tears.

I contacted the relevant people and reprimanded them (gently). They have now complained about ME and said I am not helping them to recruit!!

The staff who were there were all Chinese and have demanded a meeting with me. I have met two and cannot understand a word they say.

In other news I have been offered a job in London for a start in 2 weeks at twice the pay, plus expenses. rubschin:
