I buy loadsastuff from Amazon (yes, including popcorn seasoning

)...
I find the whole thing incredibly efficient.... and for me here in Cyprus, faster and cheaper than trailing around every shop in Limassol or Pafos to find the one that has the bit you want...
Anyway, I digress...
A couple of weeks ago I ordered a new foil and blade for my 'lectrik razor (Apey take note).....
It arrived promptly, but after opening the doo-dah and examining it I realised that I had ordered the wrong one.... my (Braun) razor takes a different part depending on which year the razor was manufactured (each razor has the same part number

)...
So, I clicked on my Amazon account, asked to return it (noting that it was my fault and that I had already opened it) and they instantly sent me a returns form and RMA label...
I re-packed in the original box and took it to the post office who charged me €1 to send it back to the UK.
Today, just a few days later, I got the refund....
Item Refund: £14.16
Item Tax Refund: £2.69
Shipping Refund: £5.40
Shipping Tax Refund: £1.02
Return Shipping Refund: £6.01
So, not only was the process quick and efficient, I actually made money on the return postage....

It makes you wonder how the gubberment can be so completely useless at IT when they have top notch firms like Amazon they could call on to do it for them...?
