Microsoft snuck their update on without me looking and it's installing now. I thought it had been pulled till they fixed the issue with it deleting user data...  scared2:

Panic over, either my rig isn't one of the ones susceptible to the bug or Microsoft fixed and reissued the update.

Well mine seems to have updated overnight

It says it's pending a restart but mysteriously the taskbar had changed to the effin useless transparent mode and the speakers turned back on so it was making annoying noises as emails arrived etc

I think all my umpteen billion of files are still there but how would I know unless I spend a million years checking them

Well that was a farce... ::)

Got the big update this morning, all seems to be fine but logging-in has alternated between using a PIN and password for no obvious reason then the PIN not working and having a reset code sent to my mobile...  noooo:

It wouldn't bleddy let me!  cussing:

First I was using the PIN, then it said 'something has gone wrong' and I had to use the password (which suited as that is how the old one was set up), then it changed back to PIN, then told me there was a problem and forced me to change the PIN!  Banghead

No problems with Windows 10 on my new refurb rig so far, could it be a case of PICNIC?  whistle:

I don't think so...  rubschin:

The other thing is has done is changed the 'hack' that allowed you to use the old photo viewer in place of the new Win10 one...  evil:
