Wasn't so much thinking about using American bridges but as a proof of concept it does have potential...  Thumbs:

I'm waiting for the day some bright engineer comes up with a similar system you can attach to office blocks as an emergency escape, the only downside I can see would be hordes of thrill seeking office workers constantly setting off the fire alarm  lol:
